Pilot projects
Municipal
Council of each municipality made decision on priority activity that would
be implemented. Representatives of municipalities, together with other
relevant stakeholders, prepared project proposals for priority problem
defined by the LEAP.
For the purpose of implementation of the projects, mayors of the municipalities
made decision on establishment of LEAP Implementation/Coordination Board.
Members of these boards are representatives of the municipality, relevant
institutions and representative of NGO that was in charge for LEAP development.
Selected projects are the following:
- Environmentally Sustainable Reconstruction and Revitalisation of the
Citadel Gradina in Doboj Municipality.
- Water Exploration on Barice – Maline Location, ®ivinice Municipality
- Education – Raising Public Awareness on Selective Waste Collection,
Improvement of the III Phase of the Landfill Kurevo and Construction of
the Facilities for Recycling on the Landfill, Prijedor Municipality
- Preparation of the Locations for Solid Waste Disposal in the area of
Sanski Most Municipality
- Arrangement of the Left Riverside of the River Bosna with Construction
of Pedestrian and Biking Pathway, Maglaj Municipality
- Forest Park Mojmilo – I phase ARBORETUM”, Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality.
Pilot
projects are in the phase of implementation and should be finalized by
the end of November 2006.
