The Goal of the Project:
The project will assist in solving highly visible environmental problems related to wastewater treatment in Mostar through the introduction of the Non-Conventional Technologies (NCTs), which have less environmental impact, relatively simple maintenance and reduce contaminant load at lower costs than conventional treatment. NCTs would be presented to the different stakeholders from several municipalities through the training sessions and workshop. Guidelines on NCTs will be prepared, as well as project documentation for Pilot location for Mostar.

The Project objectives:
1) Improvement of the capacities of local authorities and other key stakeholders through organised training sessions;
2) Creation of the guideline on identification, development and preparation of the projects on NCTs; and
3) Development of concrete project proposal on NCTs for Mostar.

Activities:
- Establishment of the project team,
- Identification of stakeholders,
- Preparation of guidelines,
- Organisation of the training,
- Developing the project documentation for the chosen pilot site,
- Closing event and the presentation of the project results.

Deliverables:
- Key stakeholders Identified,
- Guidelines on NCTs prepared,
- Pilot site identified and Project documentation prepared,
- Two training sessions, one workshop and closing event held.
